PURCHASE POLICIES

Unless specified otherwise in the contract, Mediaeval Miscellanea will provide a complete well-crafted pavilion in good condition and matching the description in the catalog. The fabric of the roof and walls meets the toughest national standards for fire resistance (copies of the certificates available upon request). The frame is steel, without center poles, and all hardware needed is included (ropes, stakes, rings, rebars, etc.).

Complete set-up instructions will be included with the pavilion, and the poles and joints are color-coded to aid in set-up. The number of people needed for a set-up crew, and the time it will take to set up, is directly dependent on the number and style of pavilions involved and the experience of the set-up crew. An average is 30-45 minutes per 10' x 20' pavilion or 15-20 minutes per canopy, set up by 3 people. The first one of any style, of course, will probably take longer, as the crew familiarizes themselves with the routine. If we are delivering the pavilions, at least one member of our staff, trained in the set-up, will go over the instructions with your set-up crew and, if time permits, will assist with the first set-up to ensure understanding of our frame system. Additional set-up by one or more members of our staff can be arranged for. The cost of this service will vary, depending on how we are delivering the pavilions. If this service is desired, a firm quote will be made in advance.

DISCOUNT FOR MULTIPLE PURCHASES

We offer discounts for those who purchase more than one pavilion (some restrictions apply). Delivery and setup are neither included nor discounted.

Rent rebates towards a purchase.

If you rent a pavilion from us for an event, and decide to purchase a pavilion by the end of the event, part or all of the rent paid will be credited towards the purchase (the exact amount depends on which pavilion you rented, and which you purchase). If you decide to buy a pavilion after the event, part of the rent paid for that event will be credited towards the purchase (the exct amount depends on the length of time between the event and the sale, which pavilion you rented and which you purchase.

We can often offer terms and financing - the pavilion of your dreams may be within your reach today.

DELIVERY

Delivery/shipping prices vary depending on how many pavilions of which size are to be purchased and where they are to be shipped to or delivered at. We will research the least expensive way to ship or deliver the pavilions wherever desired (most likely UPS hundred-weight). The exact cost will be quoted, of course, once the pavilions are chosen and before a contract is signed.

RESERVING THE DESIRED PAVILIONS

All pavilions re subject to prior rental or sale - reserve early, especially during the summer months. We are happy to put a soft hold on any pavilion, with right of first refusal. To guarantee the pavilions, we need 2 signed copies of the contract in hand, plus 25% of the total purchase price (including shipping, delivery and/or set-up). We must have an additional 25% of the total price in hand before loading for delivery or packing for shipment. Unless specified otherwise in the contract, the full balance of the total price is due on delivery.

REFERENCES

We have many repeat customers. Some individuals and groups have bought 6, 7, even 8 pavilions from us over a period of years. Most of those who buy a Period Pavilion have rented from us in the past - they know they can rely on us for great value and service. References are available up on request.
