Period Pavilions™ - Rectangular Pavilions

Rectangular pavilions are very practical, and are the easiest to divide with curtains into private and public areas.  10' x 15' is a handy size for 2 people or luxurious for one, while 10' x 20' has always been our most popular size.  Larger is often better, especially for merchants and households while there are times when only huge will do.

Mei Mei The Mei Pavillions
Are expandable – each can be adjusted a bit in width, and can be almost any length desired.  We use them as our merchant booth for for Pennsic War, and thus they are not available for rent during Pennsic War,.

We have 2 sizes of Mei currently available, both of which can be set up in either of 2 widths.  Mei 10/13 can be set up either 10’ wide, or 13’ wide, while Mei 15/17 can be set up either 15’ or 17’4” wide, depending on the roof ends and joints we use.  Each can be any length up to 70’, in 5’ increments.  And since we have 2 sets of ends for each depth, we can assemble up to four separate pavilions from the pieces.  As we made the Mei pavilions for our use, we made sure each has all the bells and whistles.

The cream color (decorated in royal blue), combined with lots of windows and large vents in each roof end, help keep the Mei pavilions as cool as possible.  The vents and windows close from inside the pavilion (no having to go out in the rain to close them!).  Most of the walls are in 10' sections so there is always a door handy; they can be left off or slid open to each of the leg poles and then back again - this is excellent for merchants, who may have to close some walls quickly if rain comes.  Some of the walls have 1 or 2 windows, some have none, so you can put windows where you like.  The possibilities are almost endless!  No more finding the pavilion is too big or too small for any given event, or you can’t open it as you wish.  Either of the Mei pavilions would go beautifully with the canopies called Chris and Ward.

Rental pricing depends on which size is used – they range from Rental code 2I for Mei 10’13 at 10’ long, to Rental code 3A for Mei 15/17 at 70’ long.  Call for an exact quote for the size desired.

Coming soon – Mei 17/19
